Role-Based Access Control Arrives in GibsonAI 2.0

GibsonAI 2.0 introduces the first phase of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), providing permission management for your GibsonAI account access. This foundational security feature gives you control over team member permissions while setting the stage for advanced security capabilities.

Current RBAC Capabilities

Team Member Invitations: Invite team members to your Gibson AI project from within your organization or otherwise. Simply add email addresses and we will send them an invitation. You can manage or revoke those invitations within your account settings.

Manage Account Permissions:  Currently, you can select viewer, editor, or admin. This allows you to share responsibilities within your Gibson AI account with your teammates without sharing the keys to the kingdom.

The Roadmap: Advanced Features Coming Soon

This initial RBAC release establishes the foundation for comprehensive security management. Upcoming features include project-level permissions for sensitive data, flexible access controls, and per-database controls over migrations, deployments, and updates..

Implementation

RBAC is available now for all GibsonAI users on the Pro account. Invite your first team members through the settings panel and begin implementing access controls immediately.
